Cosmic Healing

The theme for my first solo show had to be Painting People. When I was approached, I knew I would have some serious work to do before having a full enough body of work for the space, and of course I had to build on a theme that was already present in the work I had ready. It has been a dream of mine to sell body related artwork to spas and body work businesses for several years now, and a healing hands painting has been on the agenda that whole time. Perhaps Cosmic Healing isn’t a portrait like most of my other work, but she portrays one of the most difficult subjects to paint: the human hand. Fitting in with the other work for my show, Cosmic Healing incorporates every aspect that I could hope for from my style: energetic/magical background (representation of 432 hz for healing intention,) anatomical representation, and simplistic embellishment. Whoever purchases this original is sure to invite well-being into their space, and I will be sad to see her go.
